STAFF

Rev. William T. Seale, Senior Pastor

Over the past twenty years since graduating from Central Bible College - Springfield, MO - with a Bachelor of Arts in Bible, Rev. William “Bill” Seale has faithfully demonstrated godly character and fruitful ministry as a Pentecostal minister of the Gospel of Christ.

After graduation in 1982, his first five years of ministry were in the Illinois District of the Assemblies of God where he served two churches - Galesburg and East Alton - as Youth Pastor, receiving ordination in 1985.

In 1987, Rev. Jerry Roberts (currently a missionary representing Latin America Child Care) invited Bill to become part of his multiple staff at Eastside Assembly of God, Tucson, AZ. Eventually, Rev. David L. Stevens became the Senior Pastor at Eastside, inviting Bill to remain on staff and continue fulfilling two full-time staff ministries, Christian Education and Youth. In addition, Bill often led worship and taught classes for Western Bible College, an extension of the Arizona District Council of the Assemblies of God.  In the fall of 1990, Pastor Stevens asked Bill to continue as Minister of Christian Education while becoming his Associate Pastor. With administrative oversight for many church ministries, outreaches and facilities, Bill's experience broadened. As a result, over the span of eight years at Eastside, Bill's ability to excel while administering multiple portfolios came to the forefront.

In 1995, while receiving the preaching ministry of Rev. Charles Hackett at the Arizona District Council of the Assemblies of God, the Holy Spirit challenged Bill.  While seeking counsel and bathing the challenge in prayer, it became clear that God was calling the Seale family to plant a church in one of the fastest growing communities in Arizona, Oro Valley, a Northwest suburb of Tucson.  Together with his wife Debbie, son Zach, and a handful of faithful believers, Bill set out to establish a new church where people with diverse backgrounds and various needs could grow strong in Biblical faith, experience the life-transforming power of God's Spirit, and enjoy rewarding relationships. They named the church Copper Mountain Assembly of God.

In 1999, God blessed the Seales with another son, Jared. In addition to planting a new church, Pastor Seale also serves as a District Presbyter in the South Section, which is comprised of 22 Assemblies of God congregations.
